Week 6: What a Difference a Day Makes

The past 24 hours have been amazing! A quick trip to our lot yesterday brought a sweet surprise as we discovered framing had started on our home. Driving by this morning, there was a crew hard at work until sunset. I made four trips out there because I was so excited and interested to see all the progress they were making. After about my 3rd trip, I was able to speak with one of the workers to thank them for their hard work and to drop off Subway gift certificates for the crew. I’m not sure how many guys are usually on a framing crew, but there were 8 working on our home yesterday and today. Everything went super fast and smoothly. I gotta say, I had a blast! Here are some photos.
